Manuel De Lorenzi and Paul Dc have released a new three-track EP titled Marynbow on Monday Morning Records, out May 29, 2026. The release sits firmly in deep tech and minimal territory, built around analog grit, stripped-back arrangements, and groove-focused production that prioritizes function over decoration.
The two producers are co-founders of Monday Morning Records, a label they have run together since 2013. That shared history extends beyond the imprint itself — De Lorenzi and Paul Dc have also collaborated with Sami under the Usual Things Around project, accumulating a catalog of vinyl and digital releases that has helped define the label’s identity over more than a decade. That depth of working relationship is audible across the EP, which carries none of the tension of producers trying to establish something new, and all of the ease of two people who already know how the other thinks.
The title track opens proceedings with a rolling bassline and tight percussion that settles into a slow-burning groove. Textures shift gradually, and the track holds a late-night, floor-locking quality that gives a DJ room to work without needing to escalate. I’m Sexy introduces a slightly funkier register into the EP — still stripped back, but with a playful forward motion and dry drums that give it a warehouse-ready edge. Pump is the most direct of the three, low-end focused and rhythmically tight, designed to apply pressure deeper in a set without overcomplicating its purpose.
Across all three tracks, the production avoids the trap that catches a lot of minimal and deep tech releases — the arrangements stay lean without ever feeling empty. The analog warmth present throughout the EP reads as a genuine production choice rather than an aesthetic applied after the fact, which keeps the material grounded. De Lorenzi’s background spans early production work in Castelfidardo through international club residencies and an extensive discography, while Paul Dc brings a strong connection to vinyl culture and Italy’s underground scene. Both of those perspectives are reflected in the pacing and structure of the release.
Monday Morning Records continues to operate close to its established sound with Marynbow. The EP does not attempt to reposition the label or push toward a wider audience — it delivers three focused, gritty, functional tracks that fit naturally into the catalog the two producers have been building since 2013. For selectors working in deep and minimal spaces, all three cuts offer practical tools with enough individual character to justify the full package.
