Premiere: ODF makes his LOCUS debut with the relentless ‘Hear Dis’

London producer ODF — real name Oliver de Friend — has made his debut on Enzo Siragusa’s LOCUS imprint with Hear Dis, a four-track EP rooted firmly in UK club sonics. The release marks another significant step for one of the underground’s most active rising names, following a run of output on Time Is Now, Hardline Sounds and Method 808, as well as a notable collaboration alongside Tim Reaper and Special Request.

The EP opens with its title track, which establishes the tone immediately through weighty sub-bass, punchy drums and a relentless driving rhythm. Second cut ‚To The UK‘ draws on classic UK influences, building a tightly wound, high-energy groove from swung percussion and bassline pressure. The flip side shifts slightly in texture with ‚All Massive‘, which incorporates hazy touches, crisp production and melodic flourishes for a more heads-down feel. Closer ‚Trojan Horse‘ brings a final surge of kinetic energy, designed to lift a room in the late stages of a set.

ODF launched his own imprint, On Da Floor, in 2025, and the Hear Dis EP represents his first appearance on LOCUS since that milestone. His productions have consistently drawn from house, UK garage and bass-driven club music, and the new record continues that approach within a club-focused framework.

LOCUS was founded by Enzo Siragusa alongside the team behind London’s FUSE. The label operates around an upfront house sound and a ‚by the ravers, for the ravers‘ ethos, and has developed a reputation as a platform for both established and emerging artists. ODF’s debut for the imprint adds to a growing roster that reflects the label’s international reach.

The full premiere of ‚Hear Dis‘ is available exclusively on When We Dip Radio.
