Akumandra, a record label and party series founded by Sainte Vie in Mexico City in 2013, has announced its inaugural festival.
The Akumandra Festival will occur on July 4, 2026, at Knockdown Center in Brooklyn, New York. The event will last 14 hours and span two spaces within the venue, featuring custom lighting designs.
Akumandra began hosting events in New York City in 2015. Over eleven years, it has expanded to host bi-annual showcases at Knockdown Center and events in cities including Istanbul, Berlin, Mexico City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Miami.
The festival will feature a daytime program from 3 PM to 10 PM in Knockdown Center’s outdoor courtyard, The Ruins. Mateo and Eli will open with a back-to-back set, followed by a live set from German producer Rezident. Sainte Vie will perform a sunset live set featuring remixes from his debut album, Pablo. French duo Betical will make their New York City debut to close out The Ruins.
The festival will move indoors to the Main Hall from 10 PM to 5 AM. Mateo and Eli will open the night, followed by Milan-based producer Ivory. Brina Knauss will perform before Mano Le Tough, and Sainte Vie will close the festival with a DJ set.
