Toronto-based producer Carabetta makes his debut on German label SNOE with a two-track EP titled Hu$Tle Get Rich, led by the title cut premiered today via NUDE Techno. The release marks a personal milestone for the artist — his first outing on a German imprint — and arrives at a point of clear forward momentum in his solo career.
Previously known as one half of the duo Carabetta & Doons, the producer has been carving out his own space in the underground circuit since stepping out on his own. A recent move to Rawthentic alongside Carlo Lio added further weight to that trajectory, and the SNOE debut continues to build on it.
The title track is built around punchy drums, rolling low-end and sharp vocal chops. The groove is direct and the swing is locked in, with enough rhythmic bite to hold its own in basements, warehouses and late-night festival slots. There is nothing tentative about it — the track moves with purpose from the first bar.
The EP’s second cut, Wurst Behavior, takes a wonkier approach, offering a contrast to the tighter, more driving energy of the lead track. Together the two records present Carabetta in confident form — playful in character but precise in execution.
