Tryst Temps returns to Kosenprod with Freezing Moon, a three-track Neurofunk EP that pushes the genre into colder, heavier, and more experimental territory. Set for release on Friday, 19th June, the project arrives with a premiere of lead track ‘Seth’ via Data Transmission.
The EP opens with ‘Seth’, described as a peak-time weapon engineered for maximum dancefloor impact. The title track follows, shifting into darker and more experimental ground with sound design that prioritises precision and edge. Closing cut ‘Galskap’ sustains relentless pressure from start to finish, maintaining intensity without release — the kind of track built to hold a room until the very last moment.
Across all three tracks, Tryst Temps works within a sound that balances minimal precision against full Techstep weight, with Liquid influences surfacing unexpectedly throughout. Darker textures and unconventional rhythm work are consistent threads in his production approach, alongside an ear for psychedelic atmospherics that reward high-quality sound systems and appropriate environments. The result sits somewhere between industrial pressure and cinematic depth, avoiding spectacle in favour of sustained menace.
The release adds to a catalogue that already spans Delta9, Surveillance Music, and Vandal Records. Support for his output has come from Noisia, Bredren, Mindscape, Rido, Billain, and John B, while his live presence has extended across Toulouse, Paris, and Bristol, including shared stages with several of those same names.
