Terminal V has confirmed Clydeside Live, a new dedicated open-air event space in Glasgow’s historic docklands, as the venue for its 10th anniversary festival. The event will run from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 June 2027, marking the first three-day edition of the festival and its first fully outdoor Scottish instalment.
Situated on the north bank of the River Clyde, Clydeside Live is currently under development and is set to become Glasgow’s largest dedicated open-air event space. Terminal V will be the first music festival to be held at the site. The location had been kept confidential since Terminal V announced its move from Edinburgh to Glasgow earlier this year. Beyond music events, Clydeside Live is planned to host a varied programme of seasonal attractions and entertainment for a broad range of audiences.
Terminal V is produced by EE Live, the independent Scottish events company that has guided the festival’s growth since its launch in 2017 as a 2,000-capacity, one-day event at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre. Over the past decade, the festival has welcomed more than a quarter of a million attendees, with over 30% of ticket sales now originating from outside Scotland. Previous editions have contributed more than £5 million to the local economy. Terminal V currently ranks Number 1 in Scotland, Number 5 in the UK, and Number 22 globally in the DJ Mag Awards, and took home Best UK Festival at the publication’s Best of British Awards in 2023.
For the anniversary edition, the team will build an entirely new main stage concept — Area V — positioned at the water’s edge. Established stages The Hangar and The Greenhouse will also be reimagined for the outdoor setting. Newly released renders offer the first glimpse of the festival’s design direction. Co-founders Derek Martin and Simon McGrath cited the site’s scale, riverside position, and surrounding industrial character as central to their decision, noting alignment with the festival’s long-standing industrial aesthetic.
Terminal V’s international footprint has expanded considerably alongside its Scottish flagship. A Croatian edition is now established, a 15,000-capacity London debut took place at Drumsheds in 2025, and a first Australian edition launched in 2026, with further international activity planned as part of the tenth anniversary programme.
A first line-up announcement is forthcoming, with more than 100 artists expected to be revealed, including international headliners. Early Bird tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 2 October, with fan sign-up available for first access.
