Moscow-based producer Taleman returns to Try To Find Sound with a new EP titled Acid Aikido, a release that positions him at the intersection of organic and progressive house.
The title track opens the EP and runs for just under eight minutes at 121 BPM. Earthy, organic textures sit alongside a steady progressive drive, while acid elements move through the arrangement with a restrained, flowing quality that gives the record a hypnotic, meditative character. The track builds gradually, making it equally suited to a sunset slot or a later-night set.
Taleman has established a consistent presence across the organic and progressive house circuit, with previous releases on Amulanga, Songuara, Where The Shadow Ends, Hoomidaas, Rubicunda, Sound of Symmetry, and Mango Alley. His most recent prior work, the Dark Side EP — a collaborative effort with Devaloka and Ventt on Amulanga — further cemented his reputation for emotive, melodic club music. Acid Aikido marks his first solo statement following that release and signals a fresh direction in his sound.
Try To Find Sound operates across a broad stylistic range, spanning organic house through to melodic techno, with depth and melody serving as the consistent thread throughout its catalogue. The label describes its community as a place where listeners will find what they were looking for — a ethos that aligns closely with the considered, patient construction of Taleman’s new material.
The full premiere of Acid Aikido is available to stream exclusively on When We Dip Radio ahead of the EP’s official release date of October 9th, 2026.
