HAAi has announced DIGITiSE, a 10-track album due October 9 through Mute. The London-based Australian producer, DJ, and songwriter positions the record as a dancefloor-focused companion to her 2025 release HUMANiSE, bringing the club-oriented side of her work into a dedicated full-length project.
The title track serves as the album’s first available piece and features Pat Alvarez, a long-term collaborator whose credits extend to The Blessed Madonna, Jon Hopkins, Rose Gray, and Adiel. HAAi describes “DIGITiSE” as the center of the record and a direct reference to the sense of connection she experiences in club environments.
The two albums share an explicit musical thread. The choir that closes HUMANiSE carries directly into “RE-HUMANiSE,” the opening track on DIGITiSE, creating a deliberate transition between the releases. What began as an extension of HUMANiSE expanded into a standalone album as HAAi developed material suited specifically to her DJ sets, using the pacing of an extended set as the record’s structural foundation.
HAAi’s approach to finishing the album involved testing unfinished material during live performances while maintaining an active touring schedule. Audience movement and room response informed decisions around breakdowns, groove adjustments, and overall track length. The method reflects a practical reality of club music production — elements that read clearly on studio monitors can behave differently at club volume and scale, and real-room feedback provided a direct editing tool.
The collaborator list spans returning contributors and first-time partners. Pat Alvarez, ILA, James Massiah, and Kaiden Ford return from previous work, while Echonomist and Skybreak appear on the album for the first time. Medellín children’s choir Cantoalegre also features on closing track “Talking Walls,” continuing the choral presence established on HUMANiSE.
Several tracks carry specific production identities across the record. “Ignition” features Echonomist and draws from “Go,” a track on HUMANiSE. “I Wanna Feel Like Someone” pairs James Massiah with bass-driven production and a Motorik rhythm. “Talking Walls” brings together HAAi, Skybreak, and Cantoalegre to close the album. The release continues a trajectory that includes HAAi’s 2022 debut Baby, We’re Ascending, which featured collaborations with Jon Hopkins, Moxie, and Alexis Taylor.
