Brazilian producer Volkoder returns to Hot Creations with his new EP My House, marking his second release on Jamie Jones’ label following last year’s Need Your Body. The arrival coincides with a strong summer period for the São Paulo-born artist, which includes his Paradise debut at UNVRS Ibiza.
To mark the release, Volkoder steps up for episode 961 of the Data Transmission Podcast, delivering a mix that channels the groove-driven, rhythm-led energy he has built his reputation on. Chunky low-end, rolling percussion, vocal heat and a consistent swing run throughout, making it a set suited to basements, rooftops and late-night festival floors in equal measure.
His own material features prominently across the runtime. My House and Bassline Hits both appear alongside collaborative cuts with Vintage Culture, James Hype and Anyma, offering a clear picture of where his sound currently sits. When asked to pick a personal highlight from the mix, Volkoder pointed to “Hands Up” with Vintage Culture, describing it as a track that has been generating strong dancefloor reactions and reflecting what he is enjoying musically at this moment.
On the mix itself, Volkoder described the balance between groove and emotion as the defining element, noting that his aim is always to build a journey that keeps people moving while creating memorable moments along the way. That intention holds across the full hour, which shifts and lifts with a clear sense of purpose and direction.
Looking ahead, Volkoder confirmed a busy schedule beyond Ibiza, citing new releases on forthcoming labels, further artist collaborations, and the planned launch of his own imprint.
