D-Region & Code are set to release a new two-track single, Night Lights / Wired, on M Ocean Records on Thursday, 25th June. The release marks another chapter for a duo whose combined discography spans some of the most respected imprints in Drum & Bass and Jungle, including Emotif, Celsius, Studio Rockers, Hardcore Energy, 24 Karat, DNBB, Headsbass, Moondance, and Dirty Kitchen Rave.
The A-side, Wired, is built around warm melodies and shimmering synth work, with elegant vocals adding an emotional dimension to what is otherwise a stripped-back production. The track develops with deliberate patience, holding its energy in check before a restrained drop that carries considerable weight precisely because of the build preceding it. It is a dancefloor cut that leans into intimacy rather than brute force, pitched squarely at late-night moments where atmosphere takes precedence over impact.
The flip side, Night Lights, moves across a broader emotional range, shifting between euphoric highs, introspective passages, and atmospheric textures. Where Wired operates in close quarters, Night Lights opens the sound outward, demonstrating the duo’s ability to work across distinct moods without losing coherence across the release as a whole. Together, the two tracks present a clear and unified artistic statement rather than two loosely connected cuts.
Data Transmission is premiering Wired ahead of the release date, offering an early listen to one half of the package. With a back catalogue that stretches across multiple scenes and labels, D-Region & Code bring considerable pedigree to Night Lights / Wired, and the M Ocean Records release will be available to purchase from 25th June.
